Monticello Riverfest is an annual community organized event to bring friends and neighbors together to celebrate! Each year community organizations collaborate to offer activities and entertainment for the whole family.

Riverfest is currently a four day event that starts Thursday evening with a Family Fun Night and Car Show. Friday night features a Community Talent Show, followed by the fireworks at dusk. Saturday morning gets started with a 5k run and a Bean Bag Tournament. In the evening there is a street dance at the Monticello Community Center Parking Lot. The parade is on Sunday, followed by the Ellison Park activities, which include the duck race and Miss Monticello Coronation.
