and exceptions year to year. Always contact a class representative

Legion, 2pm. Contact Mac Murray for more information.

Talent Show, and return to River City Extreme for more reunion
fun afterward. Contact Ron Hoglund for more information.

Riverfest
Parade
The parade will again be on the new route, which starts on 3rd Street
at the Legion Club and heads East to Walnut Street. Then it will
take a right on Walnut Street and head South until 6th Street. The
Parade will then take a right on 6th Street and head West to Minnesota
Street where it takes a left and ends near the K-Mart. The parade
will no longer cross Highway 25.
The 4-H Club and the Sons of the American Legion will be passing
out candy before the parade and accepting donations to the foodshelf.
This year we are asking that both those riding in the parade and
those attending the parade not spray water of any kind. We have
had too many complaints and we risk losing parade participants if
we continue to have water guns in the parade. We ask all parade
attendees to help police this request.
We would like to have parade participates sign up early this year
so we can mail them a notification of where they will line up in
the parade. Get the Parade
Sign up Form today! This will hopefully cut down on the confusion
at the beginning of the parade and make it easier for everyone riding
in the parade. Participates should start lining up at 11:30 with
a parade start at 12:30. Late entries are always welcome but because
our parade brochure is published several days in advance you may
not be listed in the parade brochure if your entry is later then
July 2 2009. But come any way and check in across from the American
Legion on Elm Street. If you have any questions please feel free
to call the Monticello Chamber of Commerce at 763-295-2700 or Mick
Maher at 295-5458
